Lester worked for the State of Wisconsin. He had worked prior to that time for Brunner Mfg. in Elroy. He served on the Kendall Volunteer Fire Dept. and was the Administrator of the Kendall Ambulance. Lester was pleased to serve his community and his neighbors and had for 18 years on the Ambulance and Fire Dept. He often encouraged others to do the same.
He is survived by his wife, Robin, his parents Gilbert and Joan Pasch of Kendall, 3 brothers, Charles (Joni), Timothy (Erna), Jerod (Shelley) all of Kendall, two sisters Debra (Mark) Eckelberg of Wilton and Barbara Ryan of Kendall, his godchildren; Drew Eckelberg, Laura Ryan, April Pasch, and Annah Lund, his father-in-law and mother-in-law Ivan and Gail Rueckheim of Vesper, a brother-in-law Scott Rueckheim of Madison, many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. In addition to his grandparents, three cousins and a nephew preceded him in death.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, August 2, 2006, 11:00 A.M. at St. Matthew Ev. Lutheran
Church in the township of Wellington. Pastor Fred Fedke will officiate. Burial will be in the South Ridge
Lutheran Cemetery.
Relatives and friends are invited to call at Smith-Nelson Funeral Home in Kendall Tuesday from 4 until
8:00 P.M. and. Wednesday from 10:00 A.M. until the time of the service at the church
Prayer services will be held on Tuesday evening at 7:45 P.M. at the funeral home.
Family request memorials be given to the Kendall Ambulance, Kendall Fire Dept. or St. Matthew Ev.
