DONALD W. RUDOLPH, 61, TOMAH,
Donald W. Rudolph, 61, of Tomah, died Monday, June 18, 2007 at his home. He was born March 21, 1946 to
William and Helen (Lubinski) Rudolph at Mauston. He was united in marriage to Anna Mae Beaver on April
15, 1968 at St. Joseph‘s Catholic Church, Kendall. He worked for Walkers Stainless in Elroy and for Nelsons
Plumbing, the Stove Factory and as a janitor at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Tomah. During the harvest
season he worked as a heavy equipment operator and did custom farming, harvesting soybeans. Don was a
specialized welder at heart, and worked as a welder for the past 19 years at USEMCO. Farming was in his
blood from his childhood, evident recently when he decided they should raise chickens and guinea hens. Don
had many hobbies. He enjoyed the outdoors, hunting and fishing. He enjoyed woodworking and had a special
talent with the scroll saw. His favorite pastimes were watching football, he was an avid Packer Backer,
NASCAR, and wrestling fan. Wine making was his latest hobby. He loved spending time at Rudolph’s
Retreat with his family and friends. Don and his wife spent countless hours working in their gardens and
watching their visitors, the hummingbirds, butterflies, and deer. He was a faithful member of St. Mary
Immaculate Conception Catholic Church for many years. Don was a devoted husband for 39 years, and a
loving father and brother.

He is survived by his wife, Anna Mae, a daughter Melissa of LaCrosse, a son Joseph of Arcadia, a sister Judy (Dale) Miller of Wonewoc, a sister-in-law Loretta Mary (Gerald) Noet of Waukesha, a brother-in-law Wilfred John (Ruth) Beaver, Jr. of Red Wing, MN, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, many other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
A Funeral Mass of Christian Burial will be held June 22, 2007, 11:00 A.M. at St. Mary Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 303 West Monroe Street, Tomah. The Very Rev. Steven J. Kachel will officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery,
Relatives and friends are invited to call at the Sonnenburg Family Funeral Home, 801 E. Monowau Street, Tomah, WI. on Thursday, from 4:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. and at the church on Friday from 10:00 A.M. until time of the mass.
