OSAMA BIN LADEN TERRORISM OR GEORGE W. BUSH (RETALITORY) TERRORISM
IS STILL TERRORISM TO THOSE SUBJECTED TO IT.

'THERE ISN'T A TARGET IN AFGHANISTAN WORTH A $1M MISSILE'

PRESIDENT'S PRESS CONFRENCE AS REPORTED
BY NEW YORK TIMES.
PRESS CONFERENCE

PRESIDENT BUSH APPEALS TO THE NATIONS CHILDREN
TO SEND $1.00 TO HIM AT THE WHITE HOUSE TO PROVIDE RELIEF FOR
AFGHANISTANS'S CHILDREN.

"One in three Afghan children is an orphan," Mr. Bush said. "Almost half suffer chronic malnutrition. And we can and must help them"

President Bush by passed two important questions: Is it possible that we will carry the Military war on terrorism back to Iraq? Also the question of why he has refused to meet with Palastine Leader Arafat?

But the thing that really dumbfounded me was his straight faced appeal for all the nations children to go to their piggy banks or go out and wash cars or whatever it takes to raise a dollar to help care for the children of Afghanistan.

President George W is plannning for a 3 or 4 year "War On Terrorism," using the George Senior and now George Jr. form of Terrorism by going into every country that (He, George W) thinks are terrorist and bombing them back to the stone age in order to locate one terrorist or terrorist cell. So when the bombs start falling again on Bagdad, or Manilla or wherever in the world, George W. decides to bomb. Is the President going to ask a donation from our children and grandchildren for each event. The idea of children helping children in need is a great idea. But not if we use it as a tool to justify our war actions against their country.

Part of the reason that "One in three Afghan children are orphans and half suffer chronic malnutrition is the fact that many lost their fathers in the war against Russia a few years ago and yesterday news says that our heavy duty bombs blew up Military bunkers which means many more Afghan children are without fathers today, a fact Presiden Bush failed to mention.

Even if every child in our nation donated a dollar, it would hardly amount to what our miliary spends in one nite in bombing raids and cruise missiles at one million dollars a missele to say nothing of the cost to the nation being bombed.

Yesterday Prince Alwaleed Bin Talal, gave a 10 million dollar check to the City of New York to be used to help in toward the disaster caused by the Sept 11th terrorist attack. In a statement released by his publicist during his visit to ground zero, he said: ``At times like this one, we must address some of the issues that led to such a criminal attack. I believe the government of the United States of America should re-examine its policies in the Middle East and adopt a more balanced stance toward the Palestinian cause"

This made Mayor Rudolph Giuliani very angry and he returned the money to the donor.

Mr. Mayor it is time that we take our blindfolds off and try and look at the world more realisticly. One of the problems our Government faces is that they think that they have all the answers to the worlds problems and that it is not in their interst to listen to the voices of others. Sept 11th supposidly was a wake up call but when the Major of New York reacts toward a bit of critisism, which seemed like it was presented in a civil manner than I wonder if we will ever learn. 10 MILLION DOLLARS

In closing I would like to say this is one time in our history that I fear for our country. Not entirely from the bin Laden's but from our very own President and his policies of waving a terrorist banner to go and do what he damn well pleases to nations that he wishes to control and then appealing to our children to shoulder some of the guilt that perhaps he feels, by bombing a nation that is hardly out of the stone age back to the stone age.

Using Terrorism to fight terrorism is not the way to go. Perhaps we should listen a bit to the other side when it says: "I believe the government of the United States of America should re-examine its policies in the Middle East". I would add in other parts of the world also. The two question put to Presiden Bush by two American Journalist last nite at his news confernce were questions that dealt with the problems in the mid-east and Pres. Bush avoided any clear cut answers. Is it not time that we get clear cut answers from our President on such questions as: Are we going to go after Iraq like we are now doing in Afghanistain and why have you refused to meet with Palistine Leader, Arafat?
